About
Cycling Citizens MK

We're often known as the organisation behind the record breaking Cycling Santas event in Milton Keynes.
Our Story
Cycling Citizens MK is a community alliance of people, schools, businesses and organisations who believe cycling can transform Milton Keynes. We’re here to make it easier, safer and more enjoyable for everyone to ride – no matter your age, background or experience.

We work together to inspire everyday cycling, reduce congestion, improve health, and create a fairer, greener city for all.

At the heart of Cycling Citizens MK are three simple ideas: making it easier for people to cycle, celebrating the joy of riding together, and creating a city where cycling is a fair choice for everyone. These pillars guide everything we do – from practical support and community events to campaigns for safer, greener streets.
Enable
We Enable people to ride – because cycling is one of the easiest ways to keep fit and active
Encourage
We Encourage community events – because riding together is more fun and helps build stronger connections.
Empower
We Empower social change – because everyone deserves a fair chance to travel safely and sustainably by bike.
