Children from Cold Harbour and Two Mile Ash schools, dressed as santas, visited Council leader Peter Marland and Deputy-leader Lauren Townsend in the Mayor's Parlour at Civic Offices.

After talking about why they enjoy cycling to school, the children presented Christmas cards and invited the politicians to join the Cycling Santas '25 event in CMK on 13th December. Cllr Marland apologised for being unavailable, but Cllr Townsend said she'd love to come (if childcare arrangements could be made).

Ann Shrimpton, Co-chair of Cycling Citizens MK, will say: "The Cycling Santas ride is always a highlight of our year, bringing together families and cycling enthusiasts to celebrate cycling in MK. This year, we're not just riding for festive fun – with 500 Santas on bikes, we'll certainly be highlighting the need for safe cycling infrastructure that works for everyone."
